Swedish National Day In Charlottenlund

at 14:00

A warm welcome to the traditional celebration of Sweden's National Day at Charlottenlund.

This year we are serving up a lovely summer buffet with all that Sweden has to offer on a summer day like this.

Of course, the finale will be served with a delicious pastry. A summer cake with strawberries and cream. The buffet will be served at 15:00.

For those who wish, we start the celebration at 14:00 at the adjacent Nissaryds Skans, Nissaryds skans is a memory from the time when Sweden and Denmark were constantly feuding with each other. King Gustav Vasa ordered a fortification to be built in Nissaryd as a defense against Danish incursions in the area. Here, our beloved Bertil Holmén will enchant us with stories about this time of Gustav Vasa.

"Extra fun curiosity is that we celebrate the National Day when Gustav Vasa was crowned king on June 6, 1523. Inger who composes the food for you this evening is related to Gustav Vasa and his son, Johan III in direct descending line no. 14. But not only that, Bertil Holmén who will welcome us at Nissaryds Skans is also related to Johan's side. So what better time to celebrate the national day and eat really good food on this day?"

Price 349kr. Children under 12 years half price.

A warm welcome!
